About the Founder

Meet Kimmora Peters, MBA, the founder of Xcel Accounting has 18 years of corporate experience as an expert in finance & Accounting, construction project management, & investments. Kimmora has a proven track record of driving financial improvements through innovative strategies. Kimmora works as a financial leader in the internal accounting department in her current position. She has trained fellow accountants in accounting processes and financial reporting using accounting systems. Kimmora has 5 years experience working remotely with teams located across the United States. Prior to that, she has worked on the financial side for department of tourism, franchised restaurants, commercial real estate, property management, & telecommunications.

Kimmora holds a MBA in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of DeVry. Kimmora is a certified trained intuit bookkeeper, certified user of QuickBooks Online/desktop, Xero, and Bill.com, and boasts years of experience using accounting software such as SAP Business One, Microsoft GP, Sage, and NetSuite. Outside of her professional work, Kimmora enjoys creative pursuits, learning languages, and traveling.
